Southeast Wise County is growing fast
Rhome grew from 1,633 residents in the 2020 Census base to an estimated 1,961 in 2025. The towns around it are growing even faster. Census estimates show Justin at 4,399 to 7,285 and Northlake at 5,238 to 12,036 over the same period. Lots of that is new construction, and those roofs will need their first replacement eventually. Lots of it is also acreage with shops and barns.
Hail hits here too. NOAA logged 2-inch hail at Rhome and at Newark on April 1, 2024, and 1.75-inch hail at Rhome on November 24, 2025.
