The job
We inspected the property several times in May 2024, then did the tear-off and panel install in mid-June 2024 and finished up a few days later. One photo below shows the old shingles right beside the new metal, which is the easiest way to see the difference.
What we did
- Tore off the old asphalt shingles
- Dried in the deck for metal
- Installed standing seam panels with concealed fasteners, plus matching trim at the eaves, rakes, ridges and the front gable
- Final walkthrough, including the back of the house over the pool
Why standing seam on a ranch house
Long, straight panels suit a single-story ranch, and concealed fasteners mean less upkeep than exposed-fastener metal. See standing seam metal roofing.
