Metal, specialty shingles and full siding replacement in Justin
From our Rhome office we take on whole-roof and whole-house projects in Justin and across Denton County. Many newer homes around Justin are on builder-grade shingles that carry no impact rating, so replacement is a good time to step up to a designer or premium shingle system, or to metal.
- Specialty and designer shingles. Designer and luxury shingles and slate-look and shake-look shingles for homes where the roof is part of the look.
- Standing seam and other metal. 26-gauge standing seam, plus 26-gauge R-panel, stone-coated steel and metal shingles and tile. We form our standing seam panels in-house on our own roll formers and standing seam machine, and our own crew installs them.
- Premium shingle systems. Impact-rated shingle systems from the manufacturers we're certified with (GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning and Atlas). Class 3 is our minimum and Class 4 is available, with TDI Form PC068 for your insurer. Credits vary by company.
- Full siding replacement. Whole-house siding replacement, done with the roof, gutters, soffit and fascia in one project when you want everything to match.
Snow Roofing & Exteriors is A+ rated on the BBB. We do repair leaks and storm damage near Justin too, and if a repair is all your roof needs, we'll tell you that first. See storm & hail inspections.
From a French colony to a fast-growing suburb
Justin is at the intersection of Farm Roads 407 and 156 in southwestern Denton County. TSHA says French colonists founded the short-lived Icarian Colony there in 1848, that the town began in 1883 with the sale of lots, and that it took its name from Justin Sherman, chief engineer of the Santa Fe line. It incorporated in 1947 and was a wheat and dairy community before commuters from Denton and Fort Worth arrived. Census estimates show 4,399 residents in the 2020 base and about 7,285 in 2025, roughly 66% growth.
Fast growth means a mix: new subdivision roofs, older homes in the original town, and acreage with shops and barns on the edge.
Big hail, repeatedly
NOAA's Storm Events Database lists 3.4-inch hail at Justin on April 1, 2024, with other reports of 3-inch and 2.5-inch hail the same afternoon. It also lists 2.75-inch hail at Justin on March 26, 2017, and an EF-1 tornado there on April 30, 2019. Hail that size can total a shingle roof and dent metal. If you were hit and never had a roof inspection, or only had a quick look from the ground, a free on-roof inspection with photos is worth doing. See storm & hail inspections.
If you file a claim, we meet your adjuster on the roof. Texas law requires you to pay your deductible, and we never waive it. Certified with GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, and Atlas. Nearby: Rhome and New Fairview.
